1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Comprar Empresa, a platform that brings together people and companies interested in buying or selling businesses in Portugal.
2. Acceptance
By using the platform, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
3. Platform role
Comprar Empresa is an intermediary platform. Unless expressly agreed in writing, it is not a party to negotiations or transactions between users and does not guarantee that a listing will result in a sale, purchase, financing or other outcome.
4. User accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate, current information and inform us promptly of any relevant change.
5. Listings and content
Users who submit a listing are responsible for its accuracy, legality and completeness, including information about the business, assets, financial data and third-party rights. We may refuse, edit, suspend or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, incomplete or incompatible with the platform.
6. Confidentiality
Users must use confidential information obtained through the platform solely to assess a potential transaction. Information shared by another user must not be disclosed or used for any other purpose without the owner’s consent.
7. Fees and payment
Where a paid service applies, its price, scope and payment terms are presented before purchase. Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the platform for unlawful purposes, submit false information, infringe third-party rights, distribute harmful software, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the platform’s operation.
9. Intellectual property
The platform, its design, software, text, branding and other materials are protected by intellectual-property rights. You may use them only as needed to use the service in accordance with these terms.
10. Third-party services
The platform may contain links or services provided by third parties. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies; Comprar Empresa is not responsible for their availability or content.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Comprar Empresa is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, inaccurate user-supplied information, or decisions and agreements made between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
12. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where there is a breach of these terms, a legal requirement, security risk or misuse of the platform. You may stop using the platform at any time.
14. Changes
We may update these terms when necessary. The current version is published on this page and applies from the date shown above.
